This qualification covers workers who conduct vacation programs and before and after school activities for children who are of school age. It is also applicable for those who work with children who may not be of school age eg. a mobile resource unit.
During this course you will learn to plan activities and provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play and enable them to achieve their developmental outcomes.
CHC40202 Certificate IV in Out of School Hours Care is a Nationally Accredited Course which covers children 6-12 years.

The course consists of 18 units (14 compulsory and 4 elective).

Demonstrated ability at Reading, Writing and Comprehension in English.
We offer a unique Dual qualification. Participants completing the Diploma of Children’s Services have the option of extending their training to receive a Certificate IV in Out of School Hours Care in addition to their Diploma of Children’s Services.
